We were all very impressed with the way in which you took us through dad’s life at the service; you listened to what we wanted and hit exactly the right note. Your approach throughout was professional and thoughtful and we really appreciated your prompt responses to our questions.

Billy gave us excellent service and support, showing a genuine interest in my late mother, including a grasp of the essential details of her life, and leading the service in a calm and warm manner, striking just the right balance of celebration and mourning.

We were very pleased with Billy’s service for my mum. His tribute to her was everything we had hoped for and as she was Scottish, it felt particularly appropriate for her final farewell to be conducted by a fellow Scot.

I just wanted to thank you so much for conducting such a wonderful service, yesterday, for Mum. Your gentle, empathetic manner was perfect for the occasion and served to put attendees at their ease at what can be a very difficult time. Your delivery of the poems was beautiful and you very artfully stressed and coloured certain phrases within the context of the rhyme which most people cannot do. Everything was just as I envisaged it to be and that is mostly down to your constant contact through the planning stages, your ability to listen and your willingness to incorporate new ideas. From the very first phone conversation we had, it was and absolute pleasure to liaise with you and I had total confidence and trust in your ability to bring my vision to life and create a wonderful, final celebration for Mum. Thank you again, Billy. Throughout, you made a difficult process so much easier for me to cope with and you made an emotional occasion so heartfelt and poignant for all those who attended.

Billy, what can I say but a HUGE BIG thank you for your service on Friday, it was exactly how I wanted it.
It was as if you had known Peter for years. I have had numerous comments too many to mention, on how beautiful the service was, and how much they enjoyed listening to your service! You did myself, my children, and Peter proud on Friday, I will always be eternally grateful to you for that!

Dear Billy, I am the partner of Lou Grant, who's late father Richard Grant's funeral you conducted on Thursday at Amersham, and I helped compile some of the content. I'd just like to send you a note of thanks, as it was one of the nicest funerals I have attended and gave Richard a good send-off which was the best we could have wished for under the circumstances. In particular, your efforts have been widely praised from many attendees and those watching remotely. I hope our paths will cross again, hopefully under happier reasons, but in any case I would not hesitate to recommend your services.

Hi Billy, on behalf of Phill and I and of course, all the family, just wanted to thank you so much for all your help and support to ensure Mum had a special send off. I really appreciated your guidance on the way and your willingness to listen to what we were trying to achieve and helping us get there. Lastly, and so importantly, thank you for your compassion yesterday and for your tremendous empathy which was evident throughout, even when we were struggling with the seating arrangements!
